“Good Talk” Episode #4: Ryan Kern

Listen while Roger interviews Ryan Kern. Ryan is Founder and President of the Duluth Airshow. This year’s 2023 show, featuring the US Navy Blue Angels, takes place July 15-16 at the Duluth International Airport. We discuss our long friendship which began when I got involved with the Airshow back in 2001. We talk about where his idea for the show came from, how the show has evolved into one of Duluth’s largest paid admission annual event, and the many awards the show has earned. We also discussed the personal risks Ryan took in bringing back the Airshow after others had failed.
